What To Wear - July Wedding Guest Outfit

Happy August friends! Life has been extremely busy the past couple of weeks, but I finally found some time to sit down and write.

One of my very best friends got married 2 weeks ago, so I wanted to share my outfit details! The wedding was at Stonefields Estate in Carleton Place, Ontario (Ottawa area) and it was absolutely stunning. Every detail was perfect and it was so much fun to spend the day celebrating such an amazing couple with all of my closest friends.

Now let’s talk about my outfit! I wore this vibrant blue satin halter by Shona Joy (not a maternity dress). I ended up sizing up two sizes, so instead of my regular size 2, I wore a size 6 to fit my bump. I did not have to get the dress altered at all, but I did wear double-sided tape around the bust/arm area to keep the dress snug. For accessories, I went with my tried and true favourite brand, Loeffler Randall. I had been eyeing up these raffia platform heels forever and knew I had to have them for this occasion. I finished off the outfit with a matching raffia ruffle clutch, which I ended up using the entire weekend in Ottawa… since it goes with everything!

Whether you’re expecting OR NOT… I absolutely love this outfit for a wedding and would definitely wear it again.
